If a person was incarcerated for a law that didn't affect him, is he in titled to some type of monetary gain?.?

I was the one that posed the question about retro activity, I was incarcerated for 3 years for the registry and I had completed my term 8 years BEFORE the registry came out in W.Va., I have the case in Supreme Court, I feel, with the cases I placed in the action, I have a chance for some type of reimbursement, you as peers, how do you feel?.
