Can police officers write tickets based on umptions?

Unfortunately, cops do this a lot and they can write you a ticket. I would go to court and fight it based on the physical evidence (skid marks) and the fact the the cop didn't even witness it. I think your chances of winning are less than 50/50, but if you don't go to court, you have no chance at all
