Casino Night at Wedding?

My fiance and I are considering having a casino night at our wedding and were hoping to get some feedback if anyone has ever done this or been to a wedding that had this done. We were thinking of a couple of blackjack tables and craps tables. We wanted some games that people could play and socialize while we are off taking pictures and later throughout the night. One concern is that nobody would play the games at a wedding. We don't want to waste the money if people wouldn't enjoy it. Just for information we are having more of an informal wedding. We will be having a gelato bar instead of a cake, no formal seating (sit where you want sort of format), no first dance, etc., etc.. So, we are not too concerned with it not being "wedding appropriate." Anyway, any input would be helpful. Thanks!!!!
