Integrating Anime into Live-action?

I'm wondering if anyone feels the same way. Asian animation has a particular aesthetic that I feel would be magnified (in some cases) if it was interpreted through live action mediums. I realize that this has failed in the past (Dragonball Evolution for example), but i think more producers should continue to try it. If done right, these films could be financially and artistically successful. Personally, I would like to see Pokemon become live-action, and i think successes like Advent Children (though CGI) are good examples of incorporating those peculiar anime visual aesthetics. I've been watching some Korean pop videos recently, and they seem to be mimicking these "visual aesthetics."
