Muslims, What is your defense for this verse in the Qu'ran?

My defense: The background story is the peace deal of 10 years no war was broken by the unbelievers. Before that they were at wars, two wars before the treaty. Upon they the disbeliever breaking the peace came the verse to for Muslim not to remain quite, but show of firmness to those who broke the peace deal. They were given 4 months to move around freely, there after they must surrender or face the consequence of war. Muhammad (saw) then with the army invaded Mecca and conquered Mecca without the disbelievers putting a fight.
