My girlfriend doesn't like me anymore..what do I do?

I feel in love with this girl and she well broke my heart. I'm in college right now and I think that I should only pursue romantic relationships after my schooling is completed What should I do to forget about her? I still love her and I want to be with her but I think that her only real goal in life is materialistic things. It really saddens me and now I think I should forget about women for a while. What should I do to get over my big crush? Thanks ):
