Will my drivers permit get suspended or somethign worse?

im 18 and still got my drivers permit and i got into a accident last week. i made a improper left turn so the other car hit the back of my. the officer gave me a citation and i have to go to court next month. there was also three friends with me and one got hurt. i want to know what will happen to me. please help me??????????
