Stats and extracurricular activities can only get you so far, especially if you list them off superficially. Colleges want to see you pionately pursuing your interests, integrating them with your academics. Also, you need to stand out. These colleges want to have interesting students attending their schools; they want diversity. Finally, your essays will make you or break you! Make each essay one-in-a-thousand in order to have a good shot at all of your schools.
